Devlog and patch notes

Every notable change to Prism Riot, newest first. The web game updates the moment we publish; the apps update through the stores.

Prism Riot started as a phone app and came to the browser in September 2026. Development builds 2.0 and 2.1 were internal milestones; 2.2.0 is the first version sent to the public stores, where it is currently in review at Google Play and the App Store.

— Website: FAQ, press kit, new guides

  • New FAQ page, press kit with downloadable screenshots and logo, and this devlog.
  • Five new guides: how many cards are in the deck, card games like UNO, playing with a regular deck, a Boss Rush walkthrough and Endless Gauntlet & Prism Cup tips.
  • The strategy guide doubled to 30 tips, with new sections on openings, 2-player and 4-player play and the endgame.
  • Ads no longer appear on the round-result sheet; they stay in page content, away from the card table.

— Prism Riot 2.2.0 sent to the app stores; website launch

  • playprismriot.com launched with all 65 modes free in the browser, nine languages and 14 rule guides.
  • Prism Riot 2.2.0 — the first public release — submitted to Google Play and the App Store.
  • New in 2.2.0: house-rules modes (Jump-In Riot, Last Card Call, Doubles, House Party, Jump-In Duel), Endless Gauntlet, Daily Duel and Friend Challenge links.
  • Double XP is offered whenever a rewarded video is ready, not just when the result screen opens.

— Development build 2.1: 58 modes and three rule packs

  • The Merciless pack (+6, +10, PURGE, FREEZE ALL, REV +4, ROULETTE, the mercy rule), Eclipse (a flipping dark side) and Eruption (a volcanic draw pile).
  • Pyramid Chains with 60 generated-solvable pyramids, the Daily Pyramid, Chain Sprint and Riot Academy's coached table.
  • Boss Rush grew to 10 bosses and the Prism Cup to 6 tiers; six 7-day training programs; the Card Codex.

— Development build 2.0: from one table to 24 modes

  • A rule-driven engine (stacking, cross-stacking, 7-0, draw-until-playable, teams, timers, undo) and three AI levels.
  • Battle, Classic, Chaos, Solo and Party categories; Riot Chains puzzles; Boss Rush; Pass & Play; Daily Rift and the weekly challenge.
  • Career: XP and 60 levels, streaks with shields, daily quests and achievements.
